What is mindfulness by definition? Mindful Living is a state of active, open attention on the present. It is an awareness that life is available only in the present moment, and that it is possible to live happily in the here and now– and it has been practiced for over 2600 years in various traditions around the world. When you’re mindful, you observe your thoughts and feelings from a distance without judging them as good or bad. By practicing mindful living you will not lose yourself in dispersion, regrets about the past, worries about the future, anger, or jealousy in the present moment. Instead of letting your life pass you by, learning to be mindful will open your heart and help you embrace your difficult challenges.
Together, we practice mindful breathing to come back to what is happening in the present moment. We will learn the art of mindful living by noticing the wondrous, new, and healing elements that are already inside and around us, and by discovering the joy, peace, and compassion that is already YOUR TRUE NATURE. The process of transformation and healing in the consciousness will start happening.
